Queen’s University Belfast’s flagship scholarship for international-level athletes, the Elite Athlete Programme offers our highest sporting award—up to £5,000. Designed to support and challenge top student-athletes, it helps them maximise both sporting and academic potential.

SPORTS ACADEMIES
Athlete Pathway Level 2
Queen’s University Belfast’s five Sports Academies—Rugby, GAA, Rowing, Soccer, and Hockey—are dedicated to developing elite talent in our priority sports. Athletes benefit from tailored support, top-level coaching, and financial awards of up to £1,500 to help reach their full potential on and off the field.

BURSARY PROGRAMME
Athlete Pathway Level 2
The Bursary Programme provides scholarship support for athletes competing in individual sports and non-academy team sports. With awards of up to £1,500, it offers financial assistance and performance support to help student-athletes excel in both their sport and studies.
